Senior Golang Backend Developer

Job Description : We are seeking a highly skilled Senior GoLang Backend Developer with a strong background in backend development to join our engineering team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable and fault-tolerant backend systems while adhering to solid principles and delivering high-quality solutions. You will also play a critical role in mentoring team members and ensuring the implementation of industry best practices in software development. Key Responsibilities : - Design, implement, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and reliable backend systems using GoLang. - Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following SOLID principles. - Develop robust APIs and web services for large-scale applications. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide technical solutions aligned with business objectives. - Review code, debug issues, and resolve performance bottlenecks. - Create and maintain comprehensive unit tests, integration tests, and automated test suites to ensure software quality. - Leverage tools and frameworks for continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) to streamline workflows. - Work with databases such as MongoDB or other relational and non-relational systems to design efficient data solutions. - Utilize cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Platform) for infrastructure management. - Stay updated with the latest trends in GoLang and backend technologies to implement best practices. Key Skills & Experience : - Minimum 8 years of backend development experience, with at least 7 years of professional experience in GoLang. - Proficiency in building and maintaining scalable, fault-tolerant systems and APIs. - Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Node.js and React.js is a plus. - Experience with database management systems, including but not limited to MongoDB. - Expertise in CI/CD tools such as Concourse or similar platforms. - Strong understanding of SOLID principles and software engineering best practices. - Proven experience in writing unit tests, integration tests, and maintaining automated test frameworks. - Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably Google Cloud Platform. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Strong communication and collaboration abilities with a focus on teamwork.
