Firmware Engineer - C/C++

Responsibilities : - Handle new and existing projects, as well as work collaboratively with a team. - Design, develop, code, test, and debug software and hardware for embedded systems. - Actively participate in the initiation, planning, release stages, and meetings of new products. - Develop, test, and implement firmware for 8/16/32-bit microcontrollers. - Support team members in debugging and resolving software and hardware issues in the project. - Document and maintain software functionality and changes. - Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems, and integrate software components to create new applications/products. - Test, maintain, and recommend improvements for software. - Collaborate with experienced team members to optimize code output and functional units. - Maintain code revisions and version history. Qualifications : - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field. - 3 years of experience in embedded firmware development using C/C++. - Familiarity with communication protocols such as CAN (J1939), I2C, SPI, UART, RS232, RS485, Ethernet, USB, MODBUS, etc. - Familiarity with analytical tools for system debugging and performance optimization. - Experience with firmware version control tools such as Git, SVN, etc. - Experience in Agile firmware development methodologies. Preferred : - Experience with ARM-based microcontrollers and wireless protocols (e.g, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi). - Familiarity with simulation tools (e.g, MATLAB, LabVIEW) (ref:hirist.tech)
