Data Dynamics - Storage Solution Architect - Presales

As a Storage Solutions Architect at Data Dynamics, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our customers' data management strategies. You will be responsible for understanding their unique business needs, recommending optimal storage solutions, and ensuring seamless implementation. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, strong communication skills, and a customer-centric approach. Key Responsibilities : Pre-Sales Technical Consultation : - Conduct in-depth technical assessments to identify customer requirements. - Develop compelling technical presentations and demonstrations. - Provide expert guidance on storage solutions, including file/NAS, object storage, and database technologies. - Collaborate with sales teams to drive successful deals. Solution Design and Architecture : - Design scalable and resilient storage architectures aligned with customer needs. - Evaluate and recommend appropriate hardware and software components. - Develop detailed technical documentation and implementation plans. Proof of Concept (POC) Execution : - Plan and execute POCs to validate solution feasibility and performance. - Analyze POC results and provide recommendations for optimization. Customer Support and Implementation : - Provide technical support during the implementation phase. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. - Conduct knowledge transfer sessions with customer IT teams. Post-Sales Support : - Monitor system performance and identify potential issues. - Provide ongoing technical support and guidance. - Assist with capacity planning and performance tuning. Product and Technology Evangelism : - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies. - Share knowledge and best practices with the team. - Contribute to product development and improvement initiatives. Required Skills and Qualifications : - Strong proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems. - Deep understanding of file/NAS and object storage technologies. - Expertise in SQL and NoSQL databases. - Knowledge of data discovery, data science, and data governance concepts. - Experience with microservices architecture, Docker, and Kubernetes. - Familiarity with ITIL and project management methodologies. - Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Proven experience in a pre-sales or technical consulting role. - Certification in relevant technologies (e.g, AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus (ref:hirist.tech)
