Job Description

Title: Marketing Event Specialist Duration: 2 Months Location: San Diego, CA, 92121 Pay Rate: $32 - $40 per hour on w2 Work Schedule: M - F, 40 Hours a week Job Description: The Event Marketing Specialist is responsible for supporting the corporate events team. Areas of support focus on budgeting, invoicing, contracts, administration, adherence to corporate policies, working cross-functionally within marketing and other departments within Client's and general event marketing support. Duties, Responsibilities and Qualifications: Budget development and oversight experience. Responsible for event financial tracking. Serves as point person for all event related contracts; Works closely with other departments (finance, legal, etc.) to ensure contracts are reviewed and completed in a timely manner. Creates and submits compliance documentation to ensure activations meet corporate guidelines. Track and monitor progress of deliverables, set deadlines, and ensure deliverables are delivered on time. Handle finances, organize business documents, and manage risk Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. Strong project management skills Demonstrates ability to provide organized, meaningful solutions under time sensitive conditions. Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail required. Top 5 Required Skills: MFST office suite, Excel, PPT, word, Adobe pdf Experience required: Experience with finance/budgeting Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment 3 years working in corporate environment Required Education: Associates degree or above Required Years of Experience: 3 - 5 years
