Locum Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Pediatrics in Washington

Job Title: Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Job Specialty: Pediatrics Job Duration: 3 months, possibility to extend Shift: Night 5x8-Hour (19:00 - 07:00), Monday-Friday, 40 hrs/week Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum years of experience not specified License: Active WA license required Certifications: Will be discussed during credentialing Must-Have: - Must have clean background - Experienced with EPIC - COVID and flu vaccinated Job Description: - Work in a community health center servicing vulnerable populations, including migrants and refugees. - Pediatric patients from newborns to adolescents. - Support staff includes a dedicated medical assistant, receptionist, mental health therapists, dietitians, and typically an onsite pediatrician and local healthcare administrator. - Must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment, seeing approximately 16 patients per day, though numbers may vary due to cancellations. - Must have experience in outpatient ambulatory settings and express interest to work with vulnerable populations. - Willingness to work with interpretative services; bilingual ability is a plus, but not required. - Travel logistics covered include flight, rental car, or mileage and lodging. - Strong ability to adapt to fast-paced work environment, maintaining productivity expectations. - Responsible for obtaining any required certifications such as BLS, ACLS if necessary (to be discussed at credentialing). - Initial 1-week ramp-up with onsite orientation, with expectation to begin patient care by day 3.
