Job Title: Physician Job Specialty: Psychiatry - Inpatient Psych Job Duration: 13 weeks, ongoing Shift: Day - 8x5 - 09 AM Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Not specified License: Must be board certified or board eligible Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Experience in psychiatry clinical areas and treatment techniques Job Description: - Utilize Voalte, a secure internal paging system, for communication. - Work in the Psychiatric Adult Treatment Unit (PATU) with an average patient volume of 10-15 per day. - Providers will not admit patients from the Emergency Department but may be required to handle direct admissions from regional hospitals through the in-house transfer center. - This position is for weekends, requiring coverage every Saturday and Sunday from 8 AM to 5 PM. - PATU treats patients aged 18 and older. - There is no on-call requirement during non-business hours, covering only scheduled shifts. - The facility requires experience in various psychiatry areas including anxiety disorders, affective disorders, ADD/ADHD, personality disorders, eating disorders, developmental disorders, psychotic disorders, and organic disorders. - Familiarity with involuntary commitments, seclusion therapy, and restraint application is required. - Treatment techniques like pharmacotherapy, group therapy, and family therapy are required, while ECT is not. - The nearest airport for travel is Billings Logan International Airport. - Lodging recommendations include Home2Suites, with discounts available. - Estimated credentialing timeframe is 90 days. - The facility has a trauma level 1 and PED level 3.
