Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Pediatrics in Washington

Job Title: Pediatric Physician Job Specialty: Pediatrics Job Duration: 3 months, possibility to extend Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00), Monday to Friday Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week Experience: Minimum of clean background required, experienced with EPIC, and comfortable with fast-paced environments License: Active WA license required Certifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible; additional certifications (BLS, ACLS, etc.) to be discussed during credentialing Must-Have: COVID-19 and flu vaccinations Job Description: - Provide outpatient care in a community health center setting - Must be comfortable treating patients ranging from newborns to age 18 - Expected to see up to 21 patients per day - Support staff includes a dedicated medical assistant, receptionist, mental health therapists, dietitians, and local healthcare administrator - Experience working with vulnerable populations such as migrants and refugees is preferred - Interpretative services available on site - Providers should be comfortable with high patient volumes and fast-paced environments - Charting time is not paid; only direct patient care time - Travel benefits include flight, rental car or mileage, and lodging - Must be ready to start patient care within three days after a 1-week ramp-up and onsite orientation
