Job Title: Radiologic Technologist Job Specialty: Radiology Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-Hour Nights, 7 PM - 7 AM Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: State License Certifications: ARRT, BLS Must-Have: - Proficiency in X-ray, CT, and Fluoro - Ability to work independently during night shifts - Experience operating a C-arm - Competence in using portable equipment - Comfort with performing fluoro Job Description: - Adhere to a 50-mile radius rule - Utilization of two X-ray rooms, one trauma room, one fluoro room, two portable units, and four C-arms - Provide coverage for acute care, ICU, ER, OR, Dexa, fluoro, procedures, swallow studies, and pain department, servicing both inpatient and outpatient areas - Perform common imaging studies such as fluoro, swallow studies, and barium enemas across all modalities - Conduct an average of 70-100 scans/studies per day - Utilize Meditech for EMR & PACS, transitioning to Phillips - Operate department-specific equipment including GE C-arm, Shimadzu portables, and Siemens fluoro - Follow guidelines set by the department lead, and participate in competency check-offs - Dress code requires gray scrubs, which are not provided - Scheduling involves 10-hour shifts with varied start times, allowing blocked scheduling based on department needs - Work obligations include a holiday rotation, limited weekend staff, and no call or standby requirement Make sure to bring your expertise and comfort in handling various procedures and equipment required for this position.
