RF Repair Tech

Volt is immediately hiring for RF Repair Technician in Flower Mound, TX. Job Roles and Responsibilities: Use soldering equipment to repair, modify, and replace parts on electronic circuit boards for remote radio heads and baseband units. Validate symptoms and diagnose issues using information from automated diagnostic machines. Disassemble devices, identify defective components, and perform PCB repairs. Reassemble and test units to ensure they are fully functional. Troubleshoot electronic components to the component level, resolving complex technical issues. Read and interpret schematics. Maintain satisfactory quality performance levels. Keep a clean and organized workstation. Train and assist other technicians in repair processes. This is a Full Time Contact opportunity. Required Skills Proficient in soldering and desoldering techniques. In-depth knowledge of electronic circuit components and theory. Basic understanding of RF signals and 4G/5G technologies. Proficiency with multimeter. Experience with PCB repair. Ability to read and interpret schematics. Preferred Skills IPC certification. Experience with oscilloscopes and spectrum analysers. Previous experience with Ericsson repairs. Required Experience Electronics certification. Successful completion of a technical aptitude test. Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Repair Technician or equivalent. Schedule: 2nd shift: 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM Location: Flower Mound, TX Pay Rate: $25 – 30/hr.
