Software Testing Analyst

Title: Software Test Analyst V Location: Lansing, MI (Hybrid – 2-days onsite per week) Note: This role is NOT open to C2C or 3rd party candidates The Software Test Analyst V will support multiple software development projects, acting as a tester and analyst for various in-flight projects. The Software Test Analyst V will work in an Agile environment to write and execute use cases, test plans, and develop testing scripts for custom .NET web applications. Ideal candidates for this role must have senior-level (5 years) experience and proficiency in:Designing and executing manual and automated test cases API testing and tools like Postman, Rest Client, and others Writing SQL and P-SQL queries ADA Compliance testing tools, such as AccVerify, JAWS, etc. Understanding the Secure Application Development Lifecycle (SADLC), software testing methodologies, and quality assurance processes (Quality Assurance, User Acceptance, System Integration, Accessibility, Performance, Regression, Post Deployment Validation, Data Conversion) Working in build environments (DEV, UAT, QAT, PRE-PROD), and with specific test suites within integrated application lifecycle management Java and JavaScript development Issue tracking and defect management Generating and documenting test plans and strategies, including generating testing reports and metrics Generating and acquiring test data Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and design test cases Working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, Agile development environment Strong interpersonal written and verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications:Experience with industry standard automated testing tools and frameworks (Selenium, Provar, Katalon, etc.) Experience using Azure DevOps Testing Module Experience with Mobile App testing of iOS and Android applications Knowledge of performance and load testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field Note: This role is NOT open to C2C or 3rd party candidates
