Job Description

Volt is immediately hiring Assembly (Londonderry, NH) As an Assembly you will be: Responsible for performing a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations which may include microscopes, skilled hand work or utilizing automated production equipment working with small lenses and optics. Comprehends and interprets a variety of technical specifications, terms and documents. Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units. Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications. Overall Summary Support individual contributor in clean room environment. Must be able to wear appropriate PPE (safety glasses, gloves, smock, beard mask) and follow guidelines for clean room environment free of FOD/Debris. Work is under general supervision. Detailed instructions are provided. Work consists of tasks that are routine. Communication & Influence Communicates with contacts typically within the team on matters that involve obtaining or providing information requiring explanation or interpretation to understand and reach agreement Innovation & Complexity Work is structured within identified boundaries and procedures. Follows established processes to complete tasks. Escalates issues to supervisor for resolution. Organization Impact Works to achieve operational targets within job area which has impact on the overall achievement of results for the team. Education & Experience: Requires job knowledge/skills. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent with 1 to 3 years of prior related experience This is a 12 Month full time Contract or Contract to hire opportunity. Pay Range : $20.00 - $22.00 per hour.
