Database Engineer - SQL/PL-SQL

Experience : 2-4 years Job Description : Responsibilities : - Design, code, and support software solutions that can easily be scaled depending on client needs. - Participate in user requirements meetings to translate client needs into proposed application designs. - Develop and maintain database systems, including writing SQL queries, PL/SQL code, and stored procedures. - Perform database administration tasks such as backups, recovery, and performance tuning. - Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues. - Ensure data integrity and security. - Work closely with development teams to ensure smooth database integration. - Stay updated on the latest database technologies and best practices. Qualifications : - 2-4 years of experience as a Database Administrator. - Strong proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and MySQL. - Experience with Oracle Database 10g, including SQL, PL/SQL, Stored Procedures, Functions, Exception Handling, Cursors, Packages, Triggers, and Views. - Experience with Oracle database administration tools such as TOAD and SQL Developer. - Experience with UNIX operating systems. - Strong understanding of database concepts, including data modeling, normalization, and indexing. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
