C Developer/Lead - MySQL/PostgreSQL

About the Role : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced C Developer/Lead to join our dynamic team in Mumbai. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of high-performance, robust C/C++ applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet challenging business requirements. Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain high-quality C/C++ applications. - Perform system-level programming tasks, including low-level system interactions, memory management, and performance optimization. - Work with databases (e.g , SQL) to integrate data into applications. - Troubleshoot and debug complex software issues. - Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. - Stay abreast of the latest advancements in C/C++ programming and related technologies. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g , product managers, QA engineers) to ensure project success. - Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on best practices. - Lead technical discussions and contribute to architectural decisions. - Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance. Required Skills & Experience : - 10 years of professional experience in C/C++ development. - Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns. - Proficiency in working with Linux/Unix environments. - Experience with SQL databases (e.g , MySQL, PostgreSQL). - Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - A passion for learning new technologies and solving challenging problems. Desired Skills & Experience : - Experience with Pro-C. - Experience with Agile development methodologies. - Experience with version control systems (e.g, Git). - Experience with cloud platforms (e.g , AWS, Azure, GCP). - Experience with performance tuning and optimization techniques (ref:hirist.tech)
