Role Description : This is a full-time on-site role for a Cloud OCI Engineer at Orbion Infotech in Pune. The Cloud OCI Engineer will be responsible for managing software development, infrastructure, cloud computing, Linux, and databases on a day-to-day basis. Qualifications : - Software Development skills. - Infrastructure and Cloud Computing knowledge. - Proficiency in Linux and Databases. - Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). - Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. Key Responsibilities : - Design, deploy, and manage OCI resources, including compute instances (VMs), storage (object storage, block storage), networking, and load balancing. - Implement and manage security measures within the OCI environment, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls. - Monitor and optimize cloud resource utilization and costs. - Perform capacity planning and resource provisioning to meet business demands. - Administer and maintain Linux server operating systems. - Install, configure, and troubleshoot Linux systems and applications. - Experience with database administration tasks, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of databases. - Perform database backups, recovery, and performance tuning. - Participate in the software development lifecycle, including design, development, and deployment of cloud-native applications. - Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation and system administration tasks. - Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus. - Collaborate effectively with development teams, system administrators, and other stakeholders. - Participate in project planning, design, and implementation. Qualifications : Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience : 5 years of experience in cloud computing, with a strong focus on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Technical Skills : - Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and best practices. - Hands-on experience with core OCI services (Compute, Networking, Storage, Database). - Proficiency in Linux system administration. - Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell). - Experience with database administration (preferred). - Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
