Full Stack Developer - Java/React.js

About the Role : As a Full Stack Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality, scalable software solutions. You will work with a variety of technologies to extend functionality in our SAS products, contributing to both frontend and backend development. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and performant solutions within established timelines. Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements (performance, scalability, reliability). - Implement features and enhancements for SAS products using Java, JavaScript, GoLang, Python, React, and other relevant technologies. - Develop REST APIs and work with microservices architecture, using tools like Docker and Kubernetes to containerize applications. - Work closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and fellow developers to understand functional requirements and deliver solutions that meet those needs. - Ensure seamless integration between backend systems and front-end interfaces, creating a consistent user experience. - Collaborate with local and remote teams to track project progress, resolve challenges, and ensure timely delivery. - Write and execute functional, unit, and performance tests to ensure software meets quality standards. - Actively participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. - Troubleshoot and debug issues in the software, optimizing for performance and stability. - Participate in agile processes (e.g. , sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) to ensure that the team meets its objectives. - Track progress of individual tasks, raise potential risks, and collaborate with stakeholders to mitigate blockers. - Provide regular updates to project managers and stakeholders on development progress and key milestones. - Stay current with new technologies, frameworks, and development practices. - Bring innovative ideas to the team to improve development processes and tools. - Be open to learning new programming environments and technologies, adapting as necessary based on evolving business needs. Requirements : Technical Skills : Proficient in one or more of the following technologies : - Java, JavaScript, GoLang, Python, React (front-end and back-end). - Building and consuming APIs, ensuring security, scalability, and performance. - Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and managing containerized applications. - Strong experience in building scalable, high-performance web applications. - Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices to automate the software development lifecycle. - Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills to address complex issues in distributed systems and web applications. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Ability to work effectively in an agile environment, participating in sprint cycles, standups, and backlog grooming. - Collaborative mindset and the ability to work across teams (product, design, QA, and operations) to ensure successful project outcomes. - Experience with additional frontend frameworks like Vue.js or Angular. - Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and serverless architectures. - Knowledge of microfrontend architecture and strategies for scaling front-end applications. - Previous experience working in an IPO-readiness environment or with enterprise-grade SaaS solutions (ref:hirist.tech)
