Cloud Engineer - AWS/Azure

Job Overview : We are seeking an experienced and innovative Cloud Engineer to design, build, and maintain cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cloud platforms, application lifecycle management, and development best practices. This role requires hands-on expertise in Python and React, proficiency in cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and a strong focus on delivering scalable and secure solutions. Key Responsibilities : - Cloud Application Development : Design and build cloud-native applications using Python and React, following best practices in coding, security, and design patterns. - Cloud Solution Implementation : Collaborate with the development team to define and implement scalable, secure, and reliable cloud solutions on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). - Infrastructure Automation : Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to automate the provisioning and management of cloud resources. - Application Lifecycle Management : Oversee the full lifecycle of cloud applications, including development, testing, deployment, and monitoring. - CI/CD Pipelines : Design and implement Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes. - Performance Monitoring & Optimization : Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimizations to improve reliability, efficiency, and scalability. - Data Privacy & Security : Ensure all cloud architectures comply with data privacy and security regulations. - Documentation : Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud architectures, design decisions, coding guidelines, and processes. - Collaboration & Mentorship : Participate in code reviews, provide technical mentorship, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud services with business applications. Required Skills & Qualifications : - Education : Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field. - Experience : - 5 years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on cloud-based solutions. - Proven track record of deploying and managing applications on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. Technical Expertise : - Advanced proficiency in Python and React. - Strong understanding of containerization using Docker and orchestration principles. - Expertise in building and consuming RESTful APIs. - Proficiency in implementing IaC using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. - Solid experience with SQL and NoSQL : Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Professional Developer, or equivalent are highly desirable.
