Oracle Retail Consultant

Position : Oracle Retail Consultant. Employment Type : Full-time with Buxton. Location : Hybrid (Bangalore / Chennai / Hyderabad / Mumbai / Pune / Kolkata / Delhi). Role Description : As an Oracle Technical Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Oracle-based solutions, primarily focusing on RICE (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, and Enhancements) components. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Key Responsibilities : - RICE Component Development : Design and develop RICE components using Oracle tools such as SQL, PL/SQL, Pro-C, and UNIX shell scripts. - Batch Program Development : Create efficient and reliable batch programs using shell scripts and Pro-C to automate routine tasks. - BI and ADF Development : Design and develop BI reports and ADF forms to provide insightful analytics and user-friendly interfaces. - Technical Expertise : Stay updated with industry best practices and leverage your technical expertise to provide innovative solutions. - Architectural Guidance : Identify architectural components, provide technical direction, and ensure adherence to design principles. - Problem-Solving : Troubleshoot technical issues, provide timely solutions, and optimize system performance. - Stakeholder Engagement : Effectively communicate with business stakeholders, gather requirements, and present technical solutions. - Knowledge Sharing : Mentor team members, conduct training sessions, and foster a collaborative work environment. - Project Management : Provide timely updates to project managers and team leads, ensuring project milestones are met. Qualifications : Technical Skills : - Strong proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, Pro-C, and UNIX shell scripting Experience in designing and developing BI reports and ADF forms - In-depth knowledge of Oracle EBS modules (RMS, ReIM, ReSA, RPM, Allocations, RIB) - Understanding of industry best practices and architectural principles (ref:hirist.tech)
