SAS Developer

Role : Developer / Technical Lead Required Technical Skill Set : - Working Knowledge on UNIX and Shell scripting - At least 3 years in SAS Programming - SQL, Data stage, ETL and Control M jobs - Fraud Detection & Threat Monitoring - Financial Markets Compliance Must-Have : - SAS Programming, Unix and shell scripting, PLQSL (join queries) Good-to-Have : - Data Stage Development, Control M Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role : - At least 3-6 years of hands-on experience in SAS programming skills to create build macros for Fraud Detection/Prevention. - Knowledge on Base SAS, Macro and exposure to SAS code version migration - Experience with UNIX commands and shell scripting to handle file systems and execute SAS jobs - Proficient with SQL queries to analyze the back-end database tables - Good understanding of ETL jobs and Control M jobs. - Good to have hands on experience with Data Stage Tool. - Good knowledge of Fraud/AML prevention in finance domain - Experience delivering projects using Agile methodology - Suggest and implement service improvements - Handover of the shift to next shift engineers - Code deployment and Configuration Management, Troubleshooting issues and defect fixes - Adhere to shift timings and SLAs - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (ref:hirist.tech)
