Job Description

300 North Recruitment are seeking an experienced Contract Manager on behalf of a leading passive fire protection contractor based just outside of Watford. The client has a large volume of fire safety works across Greater London including fire door, fire stopping, surveying and fire risk assessment projects and predominantly covers the Healthcare, Commercial, MOD and Retail spaces. The Ideal Candidate: Minimum of 5 years' experience working on passive fire protection projects ideally across both fire doors and fire stopping. Minimum of 3 years' experience working as a Contract Manager within any construction sector. An in-date SMSTS and Basic DBS check as a minimum. The ability to spend time on the road conducting meetings with clients and site teams. A passion for fire safety and the importance it plays in protecting lives. Role Responsibilities: Managing admin tasks including the completion of Risk Assessments, Method Statements and storage of safety documentation. Keeping updated with current health and safety and fire safety legislation and requirements. Overseeing and inspection of works to ensure a good finish and compliance with safety standards and manufacturers details. Planning workloads for labour and material deliveries. Meeting clients to carry out site inspections, prestart meetings and project handovers. Package on Offer: Salary up to £60,000 per year dependant on experience. Company vehicle or car allowance.
