Job Title: Mechanical Fitter Location: Worcester, WR5 Salary: £14.80 per hour Shift Pattern: Standard shift: Monday to Friday, 9 am - 6 pm (42.5 hours per week) About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Fitter to join our dynamic team. This role involves maintaining and improving the Company’s mechanical systems and equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will undertake repairs, planned maintenance, and equipment enhancements to minimise downtime and support smooth operations. Key Responsibilities: Assemble, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment and machinery. Diagnose and rectify mechanical faults promptly to reduce downtime. Carry out planned maintenance and improvement activities on mechanical systems. Ensure all tasks comply with health and safety standards. Collaborate with the team and adapt to a variety of mechanical systems and equipment, with training provided.Ideal Candidate: Qualifications: NVQ Level 2/3 in Mechanical Engineering, Maintenance, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Experience: Proven experience in mechanical fitting, maintenance, or engineering, with strong hands-on skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. Skills: Excellent mechanical aptitude, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive attitude towards learning and development.
