Automation Engineer

You will be responsible for the electrical design and programming of the PLC machine controls. This includes creating planning and installation schedules for the machine automation process. You do the functional electrical final inspection before dispatching the machines to be installed. You assist with the upgrades and service interventions of the machines at the customers' sites. In collaboration with the suppliers and the procurement department, you specify the needed electrical components. You travel internationally (up to 30%). You have a master in Electromechanics or a relevant field with a focus on automation. You have a strong technical comprehension and excellent knowledge of PLC machinery control and programming with Siemens (Tiaportal, Step7) and Rockwell. You are familiar with EPLAN. You can visualize the process (SCADA/HMI). You design electrical control cabinets. You know how to prioritize tasks. You possess a proactive personality with a sense of initiative and a customer-oriented and commercial mindset. You have a good proficiency in Dutch and English (both written and spoken).
