Vacation Rental Property Manager

We have been in the Vacation Rental and Property Management business in San Diego since 1965, and we are expanding our portfolio of Short-Term Vacation Rental Accounts. We’re looking for the best and brightest Vacation Rental Manager in the area to lead our team in San Diego.

The ideal candidate will excel in satisfying the needs of the owners and tenants while preserving and increasing the value of the properties. Requires a minimum of three years of full-service Vacation Rental Management experience.

Compensation:

$64,500 - $84,500 depending on experience level

Responsibilities:

• Monitor incoming leads and prospects and then incorporate into marketing campaigns to help increase lease numbers
• Advertise vacancies, obtain referrals from current tenants, show units, and showcase advantages of locations and services to help obtain new tenants
• Research local rental rates and calculate costs so pricing is in line with current market conditions
• Maintain property by investing and resolving tenant complaints, enforcing rules of occupancy, inspecting vacant units, and contracting with landscaping services to ensure our tenant’s satisfaction
• Oversees all on-site operations and maintains vendor relationships to make certain all aspects of the property are running smoothly

• Use Reservation Software to complete Vacation Rental Bookings and co-ordinate with AirBnB, VRBO and Booking.com.
• Inspects properties before each check-in and after check-out.

Qualifications:

• Exquisite presentation and negotiation skills
• Possess ability to connect with a variety of personalities on the phone and in person
• Ability to use computer programs such as Microsoft Office

• Minimum two years prior Vacation Rental Management Experience.
• Requires experience in all aspects of the Vacation Rental Process.
• Requires some Saturday work in the Summer months.
