Role: Enterprise Architect - Azure Cloud Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with Technology Leaders on Microsoft cloud adoption strategies. Design high-level architectural solutions for infrastructure and applications, focusing on security, collaboration, and cloud workloads. Serve as the Technical Design Authority on projects, providing governance and mentoring team members. Engage with stakeholders and third-party partners to ensure our solutions are well-understood and effectively implemented. Drive long-term Microsoft Azure adoption, enhancing cloud security, resilience, and cost efficiency. Contribute to proposals and RFIs alongside the wider architecture team. Core Technical Knowledge Required: Proven experience in leading technical projects (Cloud Adoption, Landing Zone design, Cloud Migration, etc.). Strong background in on-premises infrastructure, virtualisation technologies, or applications. Extensive experience with Azure IaaS, Backup & Recovery Services, Governance, SQL Databases, Security, Serverless, Containers, and Active Directory. Proficiency with Windows Server/Linux OS and Infrastructure as Code (ARM, Bicep, Terraform, PowerShell). Experience with Solution Architecture (Cloud, Security, Hybrid) and Microsoft 365. Desirable Skills: Azure Migration Azure Security Data Migration Integration Architecture Data Architecture What We Look For: Strong relationship-building and leadership skills to deliver client-centric solutions. Experience in data centre transformation and modernising applications using Azure. Flexibility and a focus on delivering high-quality work to deadlines. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Engagement with C-level stakeholders.
