Quantity Surveyor – Firewalls Division Location: Avonmouth Salary: £45,000 Package Company Type: Specialist Contractor Contract Type: JCT and NEC Walker & Sloan is recruiting a Quantity Surveyor to join the Firewalls and Food division of a specialist contractor based in Avonmouth. This role involves managing multiple contracts, primarily under JCT forms, with some NEC contracts introduced. You’ll oversee cost planning, valuations, and financial reporting across a variety of projects, working closely with clients and subcontractors to ensure smooth delivery. Initially office-based, the role will incorporate regular site visits as projects progress. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of Quantity Surveying experience (excluding Assistant QS roles), with a preference for those with contracting or subcontracting backgrounds. Knowledge of JCT contracts is essential, with familiarity in NEC contracts beneficial.
