Application Operations Engineer Hybrid working-1 day a week in Bedford office Salary up to £44k This is an excellent opportunity to work with a Public Sector client. As the Application Operations Engineer you will support the organisations core infrastructure applications including but not limited to Active Directory Domain services, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Office 365. What will you be doing? Support the organisations core infrastructure applications including but not limited to Active Directory Domain services, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Office 365. Provide in-depth technical advice and guidance on issues relating to core infrastructure applications, administration, configuration, change management and development work. Support and Develop by mentoring and guidance for other less experienced support staff. Engage with the suppliers and third party's to ensure the reliable and effective delivery working in collaboration with third party suppliers. Configuration and deployment of new core infrastructure applications and services. Monitor and Report Incident management performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPI). Desired Skills and Experience: You will be able to demonstrate in-depth knowledge in key technology areas such as networking, virtualization, SANs, secure gateways, enterprise backup solutions and Software defined architecture (SDA), including Software defined networking (SDN) and software defined storage (SDS). Be able to demonstrate in-depth knowledge and support of Active Directory Domain Services, Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Office 365 including Microsoft Teams. You will be able to demonstrate sound project management experience of large-scale projects. You will be able to demonstrate an understanding of technical trends within the ICT industry and ensure the best use of technologies to satisfy user requirements. Whats on offer for you?
