Job Title: Data Systems Engineer Location: Leicester Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 per annum Benefits: 31 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays), health cash plan, flexible working hours, and potential hybrid working after probation. About the Role: SF Technology is working with a leading client who is seeking a skilled Data Systems Engineer to join their small and dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving IT systems, supporting business processes, and collaborating with the team to enhance system performance. This is an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact in a growing organisation. Key Responsibilities: SQL Maintenance: Proficiency in T-SQL and Oracle database maintenance. Report Writing: Develop and generate reports to support business operations. ERP/MRP Systems: Support and maintain enterprise resource planning and manufacturing resource planning systems. 1st Line IT Support: Provide first-line IT support to end-users, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. Server and Active Directory Management: Manage Microsoft Server environments and Active Directory. Business Process Management: Analyse and optimise business processes for efficiency and performance. Qualifications and Skills: Strong technical expertise in SQL (T-SQL, Oracle) and report writing. Experience with ERP/MRP systems. Proven background in first-line IT support. Proficiency in managing Microsoft Server environments and Active Directory. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Experience in business process management and improvement.
