Short-Term Contract - Remote Area Nurse (MPS) - Queensland

Details Seeking an experienced RAN for a short-term contract in the Whitsunday Region of Queensland. This Multipurpose Health Service consists of eight acute care beds, seven aged care beds, 24 hr emergency care and outpatient care. To be successful for this role, you'll need: • Rural nursing and emergency experience • Triage Skills • Ability to Team Lead (may be the only Registered Nurse on shift) • Knowledge of ieMR and proficiency in using this system • BLS competency • ALS competency • Emergency Triage Education Kit (ETEK) • Manual and patient handling • Infection control • Aggressive behaviour management • Mandatory reporting by Registered Nurses, and/or Midwifes for reasonable suspicions of child abuse and neglect • Medications management including QPHS (Drugs and Poisons) Regulations About Skilled Nursing Skilled Nursing is a nursing division within Skilled Medical Pty Ltd, we provide a personalised service to assist Nurses like yourself in finding their next role within the healthcare industry.
