The RoleWe are seeking an exceptional State Manager for Western Australia to lead our engagement with audiences, staff and stakeholders to maximise community appreciation of the ABC and ensure cohesion and effectiveness in the branch.The Job Lead the ABC’s presence in WA as the key ABC representative, fostering strong relationships with government, industry stakeholders, and local communities Coordinate and enhance ABC's engagement strategies to maximise community appreciation and audience connection in WA Work closely with the local management team to ensure cohesion and effectiveness of branch operations, fostering a culture of collaboration and achievement Provide high-level strategic advice to the local team on government relations and public policy issues relevant to WA Lead issue management and crisis communication efforts at the state level Facilitate internal communication and coordination among various ABC departments operating in WA About YouYou are a forward-thinking professional with significant broadcasting or media experience and well-established networks across business and the cultural sector in Western Australia.
