Xpetize - Automation Tester - Java/Selenium

Role Description : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automation Tester to join our growing Quality Assurance team. In this remote role, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software applications by developing and maintaining robust automated test suites. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define test strategies and implement them using industry-standard tools and frameworks. Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java/C#. - Leverage testing frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, or similar frameworks to create robust and maintainable test suites. - Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues effectively. - Participate in test planning sessions to understand application requirements and define comprehensive test strategies. - Automate various types of testing, including functional, regression, smoke, integration, and API testing. - Create clear, concise, and well-documented test cases, test plans, and test reports. - Integrate automated tests into the Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline. - Troubleshoot and debug test failures to pinpoint root causes and ensure test stability. - Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in automation testing tools and methodologies. - Contribute to the improvement of automation testing practices within the team. Qualifications : - 4 years of experience in automation testing using Selenium WebDriver with Java/C#. - Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles. - Experience with testing frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, or similar. - Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or Rest Assured. - Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases for data validation. - Experience with version control systems like Git. - Experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications : - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Experience with performance testing tools (e.g. , JMeter, LoadRunner). - Experience with security testing. - Experience with BDD frameworks (e.g. , Cucumber). - Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. , Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD) (ref:hirist.tech)
