Data Engineer

twentyAI is partnering with a leading global insurance company, recognised for its innovative risk solutions across sectors such as marine, professional liability, and trade credit. They are seeking a talented Data Engineer to join their dynamic technology team in Leeds. The company operates across multiple international markets, leveraging cutting-edge technology to provide top-tier insurance products and services. Key Responsibilities : Design, develop, and test new system features and applications using Azure Cloud technologies. Provide support for multiple applications, ensuring seamless performance and quick resolution of any technical issues. Build and maintain data pipelines and integrate data from various sources into cloud environments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, security, and accessibility. Optimise system performance and drive continuous improvement in data processing and cloud infrastructure. Troubleshoot complex technical problems and provide 2nd and 3rd line application support as needed. What We're Looking For : Proven experience in Azure Cloud services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, and related technologies. Strong knowledge of Python, SQL, and data pipeline architectures. Hands-on experience with data integration and working in a cloud-based environment. Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and improve systems. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams. A background in insurance, finance, or similar sectors is advantageous but not required. Please note, this is a hybrid position with 3 days per week in the company's Leeds office.
