Plot a visionary roadmap for the future of wealth management by driving a unique SaaS offering. What's In It For You The trust and freedom to influence a bespoke technology offering within an established asset manager, you will be given the tools to push the needle forward on the technical roadmap and product features of this platform. As an expert in Python/Django, you will work directly with the CTO to define the future of what they envision will be scale up within the safety net of an established asset manager growing through aggressive acquisiton. Given the freedom to design a plan to accomodate for rapid user adoption and scaling, you will mentor and lead a team of 25 to operate as an agile function that has innovation at the forefront of conscience. On offer is the potential to prove your expertise and become a Partner in the business and have skin in the game when their Private Equity owners eventually exit. What You Will Do You will be tasked with taking the reigns from the current CTO who has been building the team and overseeing the development of this bespoke offering the last 2 years. This will involve taking technical leadership, encompassing technology selection, system design, and architectural decisons and planning the execution of technical implementations, refactoring and sprint planning. You will be the primary point of contact for the engineering team, managing performance and share general people management responsibilities with senior individuals in the team and the CTO. Stakeholder management will be a critical element of this role, you will work with senior stakeholders, non technical users, and hear direct user feedback to ensure the product is moving in the right direction and delivering value across the various users that interact.
