Job Description

Are you a Legal Cashier with a good understanding of Solicitors’ Account Rules (SAR)? Do you have excellent numerical and analytical skills? Do you want to get out of working in the City Centre? If you answer Yes to these questions, then you should apply for this role. THE COMPANY: This company is a long established and highly regarded practice with offices on the outskirts of Leicester. The company benefit from have a close knit, loyal team who work across a number of different legal areas, including: Commercial Law, Insolvency, Litigation, Disputes, Property (Commercial and Residential) and Employment Law. Through an internal promotion, they are now looking to add a Legal Cashier to their friendly team. THE ROLE: As a Legal Cashier, you will be process and recording financial transactions accurately and efficiently, including client and office account payments, receipts and transfers. Your role will require you to: Reconcile bank statements and client account balances Handle client billing and credit control procedures Monitor financial transactions, ensuring compliance with Solicitors’ Accounts Rules (SAR) Prepare financial reports, including cash flow statements, financial performance summaries, and month-end reconciliations. Assist with year end audits. ABOUT YOU: To be considered for this role, you need to have previous experience of working as a Legal Cashier for a law firm. You need to have excellent numerical and analytical skills, with a high attention to detail and have the ability to work under pressure. THE BENEFITS: £22-27K, Health Insurance, Pension Plan. GD1266
