We are seeking a skilled Build Estimator to join a Main Contractor based near Gateshead. With over 5 years of experience in Build Estimating, you’ll have the opportunity to work on projects ranging from £500k to £15m. Our client’s success is built on strong client relationships, with a high percentage of their work coming from repeat clients and referrals—a testament to their exceptional reputation. Key Requirements: • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Build Estimating. • Proven ability to manage projects of varying sizes (£500k–£15m). • Valid CSCS card. • Self-motivated, ambitious, and eager to develop your career further. Responsibilities: • Analyse tender documents and contract terms. • Perform take-offs and pricing from drawings. • Develop whole life cycle costs and sub-contract terms and conditions. • Prepare tenders, value propositions, and costings. • Obtain prices, manage variations, and attend site visits during the tender stage. • Read and interpret technical drawings. • Ensure accuracy, attention to detail, and risk assessment throughout. • Collaborate with the Estimating Manager and team to meet tight deadlines.
