Junior / Graduate Electrical Design Engineer - (Building Services / MEP) East Sussex, Flexible Working £28k - £34k Dependent on Experience Benefits Graduate Electrical Design Engineer / Junior Electrical Design Engineer / Building Services / Consultancy / Construction / MEP This Junior / Graduate Electrical Design Engineer role is to join a busy, growing engineering consultancy, where you will be part of a close knit team of engineers working on the design of a range of buildings. You will learn to design the complex and unique electrical systems which enable a range of building types to function in the most sustainable way possible. It’s a team of conscientious engineers who have created a friendly supportive working environment, where you’ll feel at home from day one. Responsibilities Assisting senior design engineers with the preparation of outline design schemes Visiting site during the construction phase to monitor progress Production drawings under the direction of Engineers Assisting with the checking of documents and carrying out detailed electrical calculations Learning the latest building regulations and technical standards Undertaking duties as indicated by your manager to obtain experience and training in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Qualifications MEng / BEng in Electrical Engineering Any experience in a role relating to building services or building services electrical design would be beneficial although not essential. Knowledge of Revit or AutoCAD would be advantageous but not essential Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project You must be able to work in the UK without requiring employer sponsorship now or in the future
