We’re on the lookout for compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistants to empower students with SEN, providing the support and encouragement they need to thrive. We have opportunities in schools across Stoke-on-Trent, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Kidsgrove, Biddulph, and surrounding areas. If you're passionate about fostering a nurturing and inclusive learning environment, we want to hear from you As a Teaching Assistant focused on SEN, you’ll play a vital role in nurturing the growth and development of students with diverse needs, such as: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) Dyslexia Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges Key Responsibilities: Delivering personalized support to students in one-on-one or small group settings. Partnering with teachers and SEN Coordinators to create effective learning strategies that promote progress and emotional resilience. Inspiring confidence and independence in students as they navigate their educational journey. Observing and tracking student development, adjusting support plans as necessary. What We’re Looking For: We’d love to hear from individuals who bring: Recent hands-on experience working with children with SEN (within the last 5 years). A nurturing, patient demeanor paired with outstanding communication skills. A proactive mindset and the ability to adapt to the unique challenges of a dynamic learning environment. Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant Certificate, which are beneficial but not mandatory.
