Management Accountant Location: Leicester Full-time | Permanent | £45,000-£50,000 per annum Looking for your next role in finance? We’ve got a fantastic opportunity for a Management Accountant to join a household name based in Leicester, with its well-established Finance team this is a rare opportunity and an exciting one for sure. The role: Monthly reporting including preparation of monthly management accounts and ad-hoc reporting as required. Maintaining accurate and up to date balance sheet reconciliations including intercompany account. Business partnering with management; responsible for budget preparation, cashflow forecasting, and providing KPI and variance analysis with commentary. Liaising with budget holders to ensure their understanding of the financial information Working with the auditors Production of quarterly VAT return Managing the accuracy and maintenance of the business’s cash flow forecasting model Processing BACS and CHAPS payments Production of ad-hoc reporting and analysis Provide support and cover for colleagues across the Finance department. About You: ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified. Previous experience of a management accounts role. Excellent accuracy and attention to detail. Friendly, well organised with the ability to multi-task and perform well under pressure. Experience of communicating effectively with non-accountants. Excellent IT skills, including being highly proficient in Microsoft Excel. Enjoys problem solving and finding innovative solutions to challenges.
