Quantity Surveyor

Quantity Surveyor: Gateshead We are currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor for a Civils project in Team Valley. What the role will involve: Audit of Subcontractors works on site against Valuations/ Payment Certificates Site presence working closely with operations team Invoice reconciliation Cost Value Report appraisal Activity schedule appraisal Validation of Contractor's forecast Assist in contractual claims, and the Early Warning/ Compensation Event process Identify efficiencies / deficiencies at post-project reviews Ensure contract compliance, through effective contract management activities; support the Project Delivery teams in producing all necessary contract instructions and communications for the assigned project portfolio Undertake cost assurance on various elements of contractor's quotations - challenge and request further substantiation as and when required to fully verify numbers Assist with preparation for project review meetings - attend on their behalf when delegatedWhat we need: Bachelors degree in Quantity surveying 1-2 years of QS experience 2 professional referencesGive Harry a call on (phone number removed) if interested.
