Location: Camden, LondonSalary: £85 - £100 per dayJob Type: Full-Time, Temporary About the Role:We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to support a Year 2 child in a primary school in Camden. In addition to providing one-on-one support, the successful candidate will also perform general teaching assistant duties within the classroom. Responsibilities: Provide tailored support to a Year 2 child with special educational needs, ensuring they can access the curriculum effectively. Assist with implementing the child's individualised education plan (IEP). Support the class teacher with general classroom activities and administrative tasks. Help manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment. Encourage social interaction and support the development of social skills. Monitor and record the child's progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents. Assist with personal care and mobility needs if required. Requirements: Previous experience working with children with special educational needs is highly desirable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
