JOB DESCRIPTION Job title Project Manager Location Hereford Hours of work Monday – Thursday 7.45am- 4.45pm Friday - 7.45am – 1.45pm My Client is an independent machinery company specializing in packaging and process machinery within chemical, food, drink, cleaning etc. They supply both semi-automatic and fully-automatic packing machines designed to organise and speed up production lines. ABOUT THE ROLE Your role will be focused on project management on all of Autopack new machine projects. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO; PROJECT MANAGEMENT Regular visits to customers and suppliers (UK and Foreign) for technical training, machine acceptance tests and to clarify any technical and commercial aspects of specific enquiries/orders Attending site project review meetings Internal paperwork for new machine orders Reviewing all enquiry documentation and agreeing specifications Preparing and reviewing detailed tender documentation Preparing layout proposals in conjunction with CAD draughtspersons Involvement with initial design and build specification Using Simpro to progress an order. Liaising with third parties and sub-suppliers Supporting the Company’s ISO 9001 Quality System Awareness of Health & Safety and CDM requirements for installations Supporting the Project Engineers Commercially overseeing and managing the revenues and costs of the project and ensuring contract profitability is maintained. Commercial tracking of new machine projects. Identifying and invoicing contract variations. On site installation planning, management and project completion.
