Job Title: Complex Needs Lead Supervisor Pay Rate: £26,000 - £35,000 Location: Birmingham Hours: Full-Time (Job Share Considered) Smart Education is recruiting for a Complex Needs Lead Supervisor to join a specialist college in Birmingham, supporting students aged 14 to 25 with autism and complex needs. Experience: Significant background working with children with complex needs and leading teams in special education. Knowledge: Safeguarding legislation and procedures. Curriculum planning, including the National Curriculum. Phonics programs and behavior management strategies. Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and the ability to create tailored educational plans. Professional Development: Recent training in special educational needs. Collaboration: Experience working with external agencies on EHCP processes. Responsibilities: Lead and supervise a team delivering high-quality education and care. Develop and implement individualized educational plans for students. Collaborate with external professionals to support EHCPs. Ensure curriculum planning meets National Curriculum standards and student needs. Promote safeguarding and create a safe, inclusive learning environment. Support students' academic, social, and personal growth to enhance independence.
