Construction Tutor – Introductory Level 1 & Health and Safety Are you an experienced construction professional with a passion for teaching? We are looking for a dedicated Construction Tutor to deliver engaging Level 1 Introductory Courses in Construction and Health & Safety. This hybrid role combines online learning with occasional in-person classroom sessions, allowing you to inspire the next generation of construction professionals and provide them with the foundational skills needed for a successful career in the industry. Key Responsibilities: Deliver Level 1 Construction Courses: Teach key skills in carpentry, bricklaying, and health & safety principles to prepare learners for a career in construction. Flexible Delivery: Primarily online sessions with occasional in-person classes across the Greater London area and surrounding locations, providing hands-on, practical teaching where needed. Occupational Competence: Use your real-world construction experience to offer practical insights and help learners master industry basics and safety protocols. Learner Engagement: Motivate and support learners to reach their full potential, ensuring they are job-ready and equipped to succeed in the construction industry. What We’re Looking For: Solid Construction Experience: Practical experience in the construction industry is essential. Teaching Qualification: A recognised teaching qualification is required. Construction & Health & Safety Qualifications: Level 1 construction or CSCS qualification, and ideally Level 2 or higher in Maths & English (GCSE or equivalent). Location Flexibility: Based in the South or London, with the ability to travel for occasional in-person sessions. Passion for Teaching: A genuine desire to mentor and inspire learners to develop practical, industry-ready skills. Salary & Benefits: Salary: £30,000 per annum Predominantly Remote Work: Flexible online teaching with occasional in-person sessions.
