If you answered yes to the above, this Designated Safeguarding Lead role is for you The role – Designated Safeguarding Lead I am working with a SEN school in Wandsworth that are looking for a new Designated Safeguarding Lead to join their team In this role you will be ensuring the safety and well-being of all students, particularly those with complex emotional and behavioural needs, and ensuring that the school complies with all safeguarding laws and regulations, including local and national guidelines. For this Designated Safeguarding Lead role you will provide regular safeguarding training for all staff, carry out risk assessments, individual plans and be an advocate for students who may be experiencing difficulties physically and emotionally. You will be monitoring and reporting on students and may be required to work with external agencies. You must offer leadership and guidance during incidents such as behavioural outbursts, mental health emergencies, or other urgent situations. To be considered for this role you must have experience of being a Designated Safeguarding Lead.
