General Teaching Assistant

Zest are proud to be working with a ‘good’ primary school who are recruiting for a general teaching assistant to join their team. The role is to start as soon as possible and will continue on a long term basis. The busy school in Oldbury are a three form entry school with a supportive SLT. The school are well known in the local area for the exciting curriculum that they provide to all pupils including those with additional needs. The school also has an additional provision where SEN pupils are supported. The role: Supporting pupils within KS1 Assisting the class teacher with preparing the classroom for the day Working effectively alongside other members of staff Attending staff meetings to take part is professional development opportunities To be successful in this role you must have great communication skills and a good knowledge of the KS1 curriculum. The pay for this role will start from £80 a day, depending on references and experience. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
