Job description Job Title: Early Years Practitioner Setting: Primary School - Onsite Nursery Location: Hatfield Pay: £90 - £100 a day Hours: 35 - 40 hours per week Duration: Temp to perm/Perm Start date: ASAP Responsibilities: Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to thrive in Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 3-5 in a nursery setting Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and learning experiences Monitor and record children's progress and development Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure the well-being of each child Maintain cleanliness and organization within the nursery Follow all health and safety regulations Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive working environment Patience, empathy, and understanding towards children's needs Knowledge of child development theories and best practices in early childhood education Ability to adapt to changing situations and handle challenging behaviors effectively Note: Relevant qualifications such as a Level 3 Diploma in Childcare or equivalent are preferred. Experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is highly desirable.
