Roofer - Solar install

Job Title: Roofer/Solar Installer (Contract Basis) Location: Kent Rate of Pay: £250-£350 per day (dependent on experience) Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Roofer/Solar Installer to join our team on an ongoing contract basis for our client, a leading renewables company based in Kent. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in roofing and solar panel installation, with a commitment to quality workmanship and safety. Responsibilities: Install solar panels on residential and commercial rooftops Perform roofing work, including repairs and new installations Ensure all installations are completed to the highest standards and comply with relevant regulations Conduct site assessments and prepare roofs for solar panel installation Work collaboratively with other team members and subcontractors Maintain a clean and safe work environment Communicate effectively with clients and provide excellent customer service Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during installation Requirements: Proven experience as a roofer and solar installer Strong knowledge of roofing materials, techniques, and safety protocols Familiarity with solar panel installation processes and equipment Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication and interpersonal skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Relevant certifications and qualifications are a plus Benefits: Competitive daily rate of £250-£350, based on experience Opportunity to work with a leading renewables company Ongoing contract with potential for long-term collaboration Supportive and professional work environment If you are a dedicated and skilled Roofer/Solar Installer looking for a rewarding opportunity, we would love to hear from you.
