Mechanical Authorised Person

To work on a biotech project in Billingham, UK, we need 2x local Mechanical Authorised Persons - APMPS (Authorised Person Mechanical and Pressure Systems) Client Our client is a leading engineering contracting company providing mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, fire protection & maintenance solutions to their clients worldwide. Role & Responsibilities Responsible for the implementation of risk management systems and procedures as an inherent part of, and in accordance with, their Organisation Safety Policy Primarily, those with responsibility for the control, operation or maintenance of installed mechanical plant and who may be appointed as Authorised Person Mechanical or Pressure Systems Requirements of HASAWA 1974 and delegated legislation Safe systems of work associated with mechanical systems Functional risk assessments Monitoring and audit requirements Practical exercises in the completion of safety documentation Required Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role Relevant qualifications / certification CCNSG card Must be local to Billingham Conditions Negotiable pay rate 50 hours per week Monday-Friday (weekends unlikely) 4 month duration Immediate start
