Maintenance Operative

TXM Recruit are currently looking for a Mobile Maintenance Operative to join a maintenance team on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract. As a Multi-skilled Maintenance Operative, you will be expected to carry out duties including minor fabric work, repair works and planned maintenance across schools covering Stoke-on-Trent The salary for the Maintenance Operative is negotiable within reason from £25,000 - £28,000 dependant on experience. Hours: Monday – Friday working 8am-5pm along with a call out rota Duties: To carry out planned maintenance on fabric assets windows, fire doors, passive fire protection, roofing, and gutters. Undertake minor repair works, this may include carpentry, flooring, roofing, painting & decorating, and more. Complete minor installations and repairs in line with trade qualifications. Requirements A formal apprenticeship in a relevant City & Guilds Trade Craft. Previous experience in building fabric repairs and maintenance.
