Job Title: Sourcing/Purchasing Specialist Location: Lisburn, Northern Ireland Company Overview: This company with a division in Lisburn develops advanced sensing devices and systems for utilities and industrial customers, optimising the performance of key assets like transformers and circuit breakers. Role Overview: We’re seeking a Sourcing/Purchasing Specialist to join our small sourcing team, ensuring supply chain efficiency by delivering quality products on time and at the best price. Key Responsibilities: RFQs & Supplier Management: Manage RFQs for local/global suppliers, focusing on quality, cost, and delivery. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Support NPI projects and ECOs, ensuring supplier performance. Supplier Selection: Assist with quotes, pricing negotiations, and delivery timelines. Supplier Reviews: Lead performance reviews and address supply challenges.Qualifications: Minimum 2 years’ experience in a senior buying role, ideally in manufacturing. Expertise in inventory replenishment strategies and price/delivery negotiations. Proficiency in MS Excel with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
