Data Technician (Electronics Support)

The job will entail investigating electronic components to find out if they are still available to purchase or if they are no longer made. If not available, then finding suitable alternatives for evaluation by the Engineering team. The next stage would be data entry of the results into spreadsheets for review. The successful person would contribute to a small and friendly team on site in Biggleswade. Requirements: Qualification (s) City and Guilds / BTEC/ ONC / HNC in a subject that covered the basics of Electronics. Good MS Office skills. Good attention to detail. Good communication skills. Ability to read datasheets would be an advantage and so would be the ability to read simple schematic diagrams. Must be able to attain UK security clearance
