Learning Support Assistant

Position: Learning Support Assistant Location: Lambeth Remedy Education is looking for a committed and compassionate individual to become a part of a fantastic team, offering vital support to a child with diverse needs, including autism, learning delays, non-verbal communication, and hearing impairments. Key Responsibilities: Offer personalised, one-on-one assistance to the child, applying tailored learning methods and interactive activities. Support communication through alternative techniques like PECS, Makaton, or AAC. Create a welcoming and supportive learning environment that accommodates the child's sensory requirements. Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and parents to foster a well-rounded approach to the child's development. Monitor progress, provide consistent feedback, and assist in developing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies.
